When a book about Women’s Connection (formerly TTN), “Smart Women Don’t Retire – They Break Free,” was first published in 2008, a lot of women took notice.
One of them was Pat Snyder, a former newspaper reporter and lawyer. Pat recalls being so excited about the book, she and a group of others decided immediately to form a chapter. By 2009, the group was up and running.
Monthly programs, featuring guest speakers or Women’s Connection members, are held on the third Monday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. either online, at different venues, or pre-Covid at the Quest Conference Center on Polaris Parkway.
Programs include a wide variety of topics and are based on the interests of the members. Past programs have covered such topics as nutrition, mindfulness and exercise, updating your wardrobe, travel, and tapping into your creative side through art and writing.
