Peer Groups

Peer groups (TPGs) are informal, shared leadership groups composed of 8-12 members who meet on a monthly basis to engage in informal discussions. These groups provide opportunities for connection, new friendships and mutually supportive exploration. The intention of these groups is for women to share and learn from each other, and while the groups are meant to create a supportive environment, they are neither support groups nor therapy groups and cannot substitute for professional help when a member may confront a personal life crisis and need special assistance.

Groups generate topics of mutual interest and relevance to their current lives. Discussion topics range from those that are light-hearted and fun to others that help members to define and think through their futures. Each group works to find a comfortable way to select topics and share the responsibilities that make a shared leadership group run smoothly.

The MSP chapter currently has five Peer Groups.  The West Metro, Southwest Metro, or Living with Purpose peer groups are open to new members. Please click on pictures below for more information on each group and contact information.

In January, 2026, we launched two new peer groups - one in the Southwest Metro and one in the East Metro. We subsequently determined there is still a need for additional peer groups and are launching the South Central peer group in June 2026
