The San Francisco Chapter encompasses the Bay Area, including San Francisco, the East Bay, Sonoma County and the Peninsula/South Bay area.
Our San Francisco Bay Area chapter was founded in November of 2005. Our programs include educational presentations, small group gatherings and outings to local interest spots.
Our chapter also supports an artists' group, TED talks discussion group, travel group, non-fiction book group and our monthly Wellness Wednesdays. Members suggest and kick off new special interest groups all the time. We have also established collaborations with organizations in the Bay Area, including San Francisco Village, Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, Commission on the Status of Women, and the Commonwealth Club of California.
Members enjoy many benefits including:
- Meeting interesting, supportive women to form new friendships.
- Participating in members-only Special Interest Groups, outings and activities and forming new friendships.
- Attending quarterly program meetings and members-only special events.
- Access to virtual programs sponsored by Women's Connection chapters in other cities.
Here’s a sample of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter’s programs:
- Wellbeing and Purpose in Later Life
- Creating Sacred Space in Your Garden
- The Story Was True: Delving into Genealogy
