CARING COLLABORATIVE FAQS

How to join Women's Connection Caring Collaborative in New York City

The Caring Collaborative is a benefit of membership in Women's Connection NYC Chapter. Therefore, you must first be a Women's Connection member to take advantage of this benefit. (If you are not already a Women's Connection member, go to the Home page of Women's Connection, scroll down and click on Join Now, and follow the prompts.)

Membership in the Caring Collaborative is not automatic.

There is a required Orientation that must be attended before participation in Caring Collaborative.

Once you have joined Women's Connection, go to the Events page of the New York Chapter to register for the next FREE Caring Collaborative Orientation.

This informal question and answer session is required to become a Caring Collaborative member. It outlines the ground rules giving and getting help.

To sign up for the Caring Collaborative

Once you are a Women's Connection member, go to the Women's Connection Chapter Events page to register for a free Caring Collaborative Orientation meeting.

How can I meet others in the CC program?

The Caring Collaborative has over 20 Neighborhood Groups that meet regularly.

There are groups on the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, Midtown East, Downtown, Queens, and Riverdale neighborhoods as well as a Zoom-only group.

Attending a group meeting regularly enables members to get to know each other and explore discussion topics that help us all to become better-informed health consumers.

What is the process for getting information or help?

For information about getting help, neighborhood groups, or anything else related to the Caring Collaborative, contact the Caring Collaborative’s Coordinator by email at coordinator@ttncaringcollaborative.org.

Are there other benefits of the Women's Connection Caring Collaborative program?
