Dear TTN Friends,
It’s January, a time when we set our sights on the promises of what the new year may bring. For TTN, 2022 is off to an exciting start! Already we have launched a new website (ttnwomen.org) with a powerful association management system (“AMS”) inside it! This system will transform our internal operations and the TTN brand. I want to congratulate everyone who was involved in making the implementation a success.
I have just completed my first meeting as the new President of TTN’s Board of Directors. I am honored to serve an organization that has positively affected the lives of so many of our members, and I am excited about having an opportunity to work with the impressive group of women who comprise TTN’s Board.
The Board of Directors … what are we responsible for? The Board holds fiduciary responsibility for TTN, ensuring that we adhere to our mission, use our resources effectively, and deliver on the objectives we establish in our business strategy. Our Executive Director, Darla Hastings, runs TTN on a national level with responsibility for both strategy and operations, partnering with chapter leaders on a daily basis. We all work together with the aim of delivering a meaningful and satisfying experience to TTN members.
Our promise for 2022 is to focus on you! TTN exists to bring us together so we can expand our lives and support and inspire each other across life’s transitions. I hope to meet you during my tenure as Board President. For now, I wish you good health and much happiness as we move into 2022!
With warm regards,
Karen
