Interested in seeing wildlife or just enjoying a peaceful paddle? Join us for a guided, leisurely kayak tour of Little Seneca Lake, offered by Montgomery Parks. We may see beaver, herons, or even a bald eagle!
Please note: you should expect to get your feet wet and your clothes a bit damp. Also, basic paddling experience is necessary (this is not a lesson).

What to Wear & Other Info.
> Wear a hat, water sandals or shoes (no flip-flops).
> Bring water and sunscreen.
> Boats, paddles, and life jackets will be provided.
> Adaptive equipment will be available to assist participants in getting in and out of the kayak.
Registration Instructions
There are 2 registration steps needed to sign up for this event:
> First: please register ASAP on the Montgomery Parks website while space is still available. Make sure you register for PPACC009. Note that Montgomery Parks charges a $30 fee per participant.
> Second: register for this event here with Women's Connection. There is no additional fee charged by Women's Connection, but we need everyone to register so that we know who's coming.
Parking
> Allow extra time: it’s a 5 minute drive from the park entrance to the boat rental parking lot.
> Parking lot location: turn onto Lake Ridge Drive from Old Baltimore Road to enter Black Hill Regional Park. Shortly after entering, you will see a right turn for Picnic Lane (which goes to the dog park and playgrounds). Do not turn there—stay straight/left on Lake Ridge Drive. Pass the park maintenance yard and the trailhead parking lot's on your right. At the end of Lake Ridge Drive, follow the road as it splits into the waterfront loop. The Black Hill Boat Rental and parking lot will be on your right, and the Black Hill Discovery Center will be up on your left.
Please note: Women’s Connection hosts and members may take photos and videos at events and use them on our website and in newsletters, social media posts and promotional materials. We guard the privacy of our members and guests and never publish personal contact information alongside images. Event attendees may choose not to be included in group photos and may request removal of their image from the website by writing to us at info@womenconnecting.org.
