CHI-Blues DancingLet's Explore Chicago by trying Blues Dancing!

Blues Dancing began in the early 19th century with the rise of blues of music. Known for its grounded movement, improvisation, and close partnership, Blues Dancing is the dance for dancers.

This class will introduce you to the history and basic rhythms of blues dancing. We will focus on partner dancing, with an emphasis on the social aspects of the dance.

By the end of the the lesson, you will be able to execute a number of blue’s rhythmic steps, and dance with a partner. All levels are welcome and no dance experience or partner is required.

There is a $15 fee to attend this event.
