What could be more Philadelphia than the Mummers?!
The Mummers Museum opened in 1976 as part of Philadelphia’s celebration of America’s Bicentennial. The museum is dedicated to celebrating the tradition of Mummery in Philadelphia. Inside are costumes, oral histories, video and audio archives, and even an exhibit to teach anyone how to “strut.” The collection brings you up close to the elaborate costumes and the captivating history behind the Mummers Parade.
This memorable private tour will be given by Mark Montanaro, the museum's curator.

If you are a member and cancel your registration before the specified deadline, you will receive a full refund as a credit to your account. You can use the credit to pay for another event or put it toward your annual dues payment. Non-members will receive a refund on their credit card, minus a $4 processing fee.
