At Broadway Community, volunteers play a vital role in serving the most vulnerable neighbors with dignity, care, and compassion. Each day, they prepare and serve gourmet, multi-course meals -- completely free of charge -- to guests experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, or other serious life challenges.
As a volunteer, you’ll assist with preparing and distributing breakfast and lunch, serving beverages, receiving deliveries, washing dishes, maintaining a clean workspace, room set-up and clean up, and supporting our kitchen team in crafting thoughtful, nourishing meals. All meals are designed and prepared under the leadership of our talented Chef, Timothy Fields.
All that we ask is that you come dressed in close-toed shoes, shirts that cover the armpit, and ready to make a difference in the lives you will cross paths with.
There’s room for six (6) Women’s Connection members to take part in this volunteer opportunity on Tuesday, November 11th, from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
Registration closes on Thursday, November 6th.
