Mary B. Relotto is a passionate advocate for women’s equity and entrepreneurship, with decades of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, and community building. She is the founder of Dames Bond—recognized by Forbes—and the Dames Bond Marketplace, both created to empower women through networking, education, and visibility.
A skilled educator and consultant, Mary B. is certified by the NRF Foundation/Rise Up to teach Customer Service and Retail. She has guided countless adult learners in achieving their high school diplomas and, in 2025, designed and taught an entrepreneurial curriculum for high school students. The program culminated in a successful pop-up shop where 15 students earned while they learned, showcasing the work of local artisans.
Over her 37 years in Columbus, Mary B. has been honored with numerous awards, including Sunny 95’s Women You Should Know, WELD’s Women Leading the Way, and the SBA’s Women in Business Champion of the Year.
Currently, she is authoring a memoir that explores themes of adoption, resilience, and adaptation. Her journey has been featured in Maria Laurino’s book The Price of Children and, most recently, on 60 Minutes in The Vatican’s Orphans.
